Ich kanns ja verstehen wenn man Kritik an seinem Service nicht mag. Aber Flickr geht zu weit. Viel zu weit.

I can understand that critique on ones service and 'baby' may be offensive. But Flickr is going to far. Much to far. Learn to communicate instead of gagging people!

A small update: we are still working hard on a resolution and still are in constant cross-Atlantic conversations. We hope to have an announcement within 24 hours that (most) people will be happ(ier) with. Given the time that's gone by so far, it's not that much longer: please bear with us.

I wish there was more we could have said during the whole process - it's quite painful to not be able to be more open. But there are good reasons: sometimes there's a trade off between talking about it and doing it, and we want to be in a position where we can make it better, not just explain why we couldn't.

We're still refreshing this thread very frequently and reading everything people write on the subject. There were certainly things we could have done better, and things we really screwed up,but for those of you who do have some trust in us, let me say that it is not as simple as it looks from the outside.
