Visual DHTML
Visual DHTML is a free Web-based authoring tool that lets you create interactive web content using various DHTML technologies. Visual DHTML brings JavaScript1.2 and DHTML towards its full and future potential and application level by bringing more traditionally low-level programming techniques and features to Web-based scripting languages, such as implementing an object oriented, component-based ("Bean" style) architecture with "Drag and Drop" functionality for quick and easy development, and including several pre-built DHTML widgets, such as the dynamic Drawer and Ticker that you can customize and component properties that you can modify. Also, if you like something about the functionality of this tool, you can copy and paste the source code by viewing the Page Source from Navigator.
What's special about Visual DHTML is that the tool itself is written completely in DHTML; you can develop DHTML with DHTML, including dynamic widgets, components, kiosk-style pages, webtops, channels, and other dynamic wizardry. The tool lets you build DHTML without writing any HTML or JavaScript yourself; all you need to do is select the elements you'd like to use from a series of menus, fill in the text (or graphics), and publish the resulting web pages.
tkHTML
tkHTML is a simple HTML editor based on the Tcl script language and the Tk toolkit for X11. It allows quick composition and editting of HTML-format documents, as well as a rapid way of converting existing text documents to the HTML format.
City University HTML Editor
WYSIWYG HTML Editor
This provides an almost fully WYSIWYG interface for composing HTML documents. It is written as an ATK object, so if you are an ATK programmer, you can slot this object into your applications. If you just want to edit documents, that's cool too, as it can be configured so that the ez editor will notice a ".html" extension on a file and automatically use my htmltext object to edit the file with.
ASHE
This is the ftp public ASHE Directory. ASHE stands for A Simple HTML Editor. This Editor was presented in the Second WWW Conference at Chicago . This is a beta version. We are not responsible for any damage to your files.
ASHE was written using C language, Motif and NCSA HTML Widget.
BIPED (BI-protocol Page EDitor)
BIPED uses uses 2 protocols to get the 2 views of the your page so that you can both see the source code and also how the page is rendered through both the server (httpd, gopherd etc) and the WWW browser. What all this means is that in the FTP Protocol section you will see your source code as it exists on disk without any filtering, interpretation, etc. that normally happens when your httpd server sends the document in response to an http protocol request and without the HTML rendering that your Browser normally does to make things look nice. BIPED presents all of this source in a TEXTAREA form element so that you can scroll around to see all the source, and edit it, in a small (user defineable sized) box.
